12 a.m. – Disturbing the peace complaint in the 1500 block of Mitchell; determined to be verbal dispute only.

12:11 a.m. – Pedestrian stop, 1500 block Mitchell; checks OK.

2:29 a.m. – Pedestrian stop, Plaza and San Miguel; out with three, checks OK.

2:46 a.m. – Officer initiated activity, suspicious vehicle in the 800 block of First; unable to locate anyone on campus, vehicle is secure.

4:19 a.m. – Suspicious person in the area of Brennan and First; report taken.

9:08 a.m. – Residential alarm sounding, 300 block Noni; log note only.

10:59 a.m. – Traffic hazard reported, Highway 120 and Irwin; stranded motorist, checks OK.

1:49 p.m. – Domestic dispute reported, occurred prior in the 1500 block of Mitchell; report taken.

6:28 p.m. – Vandalism complaint, damage to driver’s side window of vehicle on Chalane.

7 p.m. – Disturbing the peace complaint, 2500 block Jackson; checks OK.

8:42 p.m. – Suspicious vehicle reported in the 1000 block of La Mesa; unable to locate.

 

SATURDAY, AUG. 24

12:39 a.m. – Security check downtown, 1700 block Main; checks OK.

3:35 a.m. – Pedestrian stop, 1900 block McHenry; log note only.

6:11 a.m. – Suspicious vehicle in the 2200 block of Jackson; checks OK.

7:43 a.m. – Security check of police department shooting range and animal shelter, 25000 block East River; checks OK.

9:34 a.m. – Hit and run with property damage, semi-truck went through railroad crossing at Highway 120 and McHenry as crossing arms were coming down; arms broken off; report taken.

1:43 p.m. – Non-emergency 9-1-1 call from an address on Mariposa Road; transferred to other agency, county area.

1:54 p.m. – Minor injury vehicle accident reported, Mariposa and Dodds; call transferred to CHP.

3:13 p.m. – Non-emergency 9-1-1 call from the 1300 block of Mitchell; misdial, checks OK.

4:41 p.m. – Reckless driving complaint, eastbound vehicle on the highway, area of Highway 120 and Walnut; unable to locate.

10:05 p.m. – Possible hazard reported, power line hanging low in the 1400 block of Mitchell.

2:42 a.m. – Burglary reported, alarm sounding in the 1900 block of McHenry, report taken.

3:51 a.m. – Suspicious vehicle in the 1600 block of David; log note only.

9:07 a.m. – Public assist at the police station, 2000 block McHenry.

9:34 a.m. – Follow up on prior incident, 1900 block Yosemite.

2:20 p.m. – Meet a citizen at police station, 2000 block McHenry.

2:59 p.m. – Residential alarm in the 2400 block of California; log note only.

3:11 p.m. – 9-1-1 hang-up from the 800 block of First; secure, misdial only.

3:24 p.m. – Suspicious circumstance, possible scam reported by citizen on First Street.

4:24 p.m. – Officer initiated activity, North and Stanislaus, open 9-1-1 line, assisted.

6:39 p.m. – Be on the lookout issued for subject that walked away from care home in the 1100 block of California.

9:21 p.m. – 9-1-1 hang-up from the 1300 block of Mitchell; checks OK.

11:17 p.m. – Report of possible speeding vehicle in the area, Brayton Avenue; unable to locate.

11:31 p.m. – Suspicious vehicle in the 1100 block of Yosemite; checks OK.

 

WEDNESDAY, AUG. 21

12:44 a.m. – Suspicious person reported, Sanchez Park, Cardinal and Sanchez; warned regarding park hours.

3:23 a.m. – Security check, Hogan Park, 1000 block Escalon Avenue; no problems noted.

5:27 a.m. – 9-1-1 hang-up from the 400 block of Valdapena; log note only.

12:03 p.m. – Suspicious subjects in the area, Matthew Lane, selling education materials door to door; advised on city codes.

12:33 p.m. – 9-1-1 hang-up from the area of Seidner Road, between Kelly and Highway 120; nothing heard, call transferred to San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Office.

2:59 p.m. – Meet a citizen at police station, 2000 block McHenry.

9:10 p.m. – Security check at Sanchez Park; area of Sanchez and Cardinal; checks OK.
