SUNDAY, AUG. 5

12:03 a.m. – Suspicious vehicle, 1100 block La Mesa; log note only.

12:26 a.m. – Security check, 1200 block Plaza; checks OK.

12:36 a.m. – Suspicious vehicle, 1200 block Lillian; checks OK.

12:51 a.m. – Suspicious vehicle, 1200 block Yosemite; log note only.

12:52 a.m. – Disturbing the peace complaint, Yosemite and Carolyn; loud music in the area.

12:54 a.m. – Pedestrian stop, 1900 block Yosemite, out with multiple juveniles near Dent Elementary School, report taken.

8:25 a.m. – Public assist, 2000 block McHenry.

4:14 p.m. – 9-1-1 hang-up, coordinates come back to McHenry Recreation Area; Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Department also advised.

8:29 p.m. – Suspicious vehicle reported in the area of Sanchez and First; log note only.

 

SATURDAY, AUG. 4

12:28 a.m. – Check of Escalon High School campus, 1500 block Yosemite; checks OK.

12:35 a.m. – Pedestrian stop, Yosemite and Stanislaus, out with one; log note only.

12:46 a.m. – Suspicious circumstance, youths seen in back of a building in the 2100 block of Edmart; gone on arrival.

5:52 a.m. – Officer initiated activity, check of shopping complex in the 1900 block of McHenry.

9:31 a.m. – Meet a citizen at police station, log note only.

12:23 p.m. – Assist outside agency, assist to San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Office, be on the lookout for missing elderly female at risk; assisted.

4:50 p.m. – Disturbing the peace complaint, 1500 block Sophie.

8:51 p.m. – Suspicious person reported, 800 block First; officer initiated activity, checks OK.

10:17 p.m. – Security check at gun range, 25000 block East River Road; checks OK.

11:53 p.m. – Officer initiated activity at Escalon Community Center, 1000 block Escalon Avenue; checks OK.

 

FRIDAY, AUG. 3

5:41 a.m. – Non-injury vehicle accident, 1300 block Escalon Avenue; log note only.

9:50 a.m. – Meet a citizen, officer initiated activity at police department, 2000 block McHenry.

10:27 a.m. – Officer initiated activity at police department, meet a citizen in the 2000 block of McHenry.

1:09 p.m. – Suspicious person reported in the area, 1100 block Highway 120; checks OK.

1:19 p.m. – Extra patrol request in the 1500 block of Irwin.

5:19 p.m. – Reckless driving complaint; vehicle eastbound on Highway 120 into Escalon; log note only, vehicle no longer in area.

6:43 p.m. – Non-emergency 9-1-1 call, coordinates return to Jack Tone and Highway 120; transferred to San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Office.

7:03 p.m. – Welfare check, 2300 block of Vine due to 9-1-1 open line; checks OK, child playing with phone.

7:36 p.m. – 9-1-1 hang-up from the 1600 block of Michelle; checks OK, misdial.

 

THURSDAY, AUG. 2

12:58 a.m. – Business alarm sounding, 3300 block McHenry; determined to be false alarm.

2:41 a.m. – Check of El Portal Middle School; no problems noted.

4:12 a.m. – Officer initiated activity, check of animal shelter, 25000 block River Road; checks OK.

10:02 a.m. – 9-1-1 hang-up, coordinates come back to an address in Modesto, Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Office notified.

6:04 p.m. – Suspicious vehicle in area, reported on Countrywood; gone on arrival.

8:44 p.m. – Assist outside agency, assist to Oakdale Police Department on locating subject wanted in connection with assault on a tow truck driver in that city and driving under the influence.

 

WEDNESDAY, AUG. 1

12:33 a.m. – Assist outside agency, making contact with subject on Elizabeth regarding vehicle for Modesto Police Department.

12:41 a.m. – Suspicious circumstance, 1500 block Countrywood; report taken.

1:25 a.m. – Officer initiated activity, 1200 block Yosemite, out with three subjects; checks OK.

1:28 a.m. – Suspicious vehicle near park, Brook and Autumn; advised of park hours.

6:30 a.m. – Suspicious vehicle, Hogan Park; checks OK.

9:46 a.m. – Hit and run with property damage, 1500 block Yosemite; report taken.

10:52 a.m. – Petty theft complaint, 1200 block Jones.

11:05 a.m. – Non-injury accident, 1900 block McHenry. Information exchange, both vehicles were driven from the scene.

12:55 p.m. – Report of youths riding dirt bikes in the area without helmets; warned.

1:08 p.m. – Vehicle accident with minor injuries, First and Main; report taken.

7:13 p.m. – Business alarm sounding, 1900 block McHenry; determined to false alarm.

7:47 p.m. – Assist outside agency, CHP Modesto reported overturned tomato truck in the area of McHenry and River; assisted.

10:26 p.m. – Suspicious vehicle at Escalon Community Center, out with two; checks OK.
