Turlock resident Wayne Norman – also known as ‘the crazy pickle dude’ – bags up a purchase for a customer at the Farmers Market in Escalon. Hosted the third Wednesday each month during the summer, the next market night will be on June 19 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., in and around the city’s Main Street Park. Norman’s Green Vine Canning business features a wide variety of pickled items, from red onions to okra, carrot spears to, of course, pickles. A number of vendors, food trucks and entertainment are all on the schedule for the upcoming market.
