Nominees Being Sought For ‘Good Deed Corner’
good

As the region continues to deal with the ongoing coronavirus pandemic and the many changes that it has brought, there is still good news to share.

The Oakdale Leader, The Riverbank News and The Escalon Times want to highlight those people – or organizations – that continue going ‘above and beyond’ in these difficult times to help others. Whether it is a youngster doing free yard work for a senior citizen, a group of people banding together to tackle a big community project, a business that consistently contributes to the community or just someone acting as a Good Samaritan, we want to share those stories. If you know of someone that has been selflessly giving of themselves to help others in need, please send some specifics to us for use in a future ‘Good Deed Corner’ article.

Information can be submitted via email to Editor Marg Jackson at mjackson@oakdaleleader.com; dropped off at our office at 122 S. Third Ave., Oakdale; or mailed in to The Oakdale Leader, 122 S. Third Ave., Oakdale, CA 96361, Attn: Marg Jackson. Nominations should include information about the person and/or organization and the ‘good deed’ that was done. Those submitting the nominations are also asked to include their name and a contact phone number for any follow up questions. Those making the nomination can request to remain anonymous as part of the ‘Good Deed’ write up but we do require a name and contact information for verification purposes.

Whatever community you are in, chances are you know of someone who is making a difference; let us share their ‘good deeds’ with others.
