There’s still time to get signed up and enjoy bowling for a good cause, as the El Portal Bowling League gears up for a new season.

There will be an informational meeting on Thursday, Sept. 5 at McHenry Bowl in Modesto, starting at 9:30 a.m. in the conference room, for those interested in learning about the opportunity. League action starts at 10 a.m. each Thursday.

Bowlers raise money for sixth grade science camp and this past year, donated over $1,820. More information is also available by contacting Janice Alcantor at 209-838-2942.
