In the City of Riverbank, First Street from Atchison Street to Santa Fe Road will undergo a surface overlay; this will require the bridge over the Stanislaus River to be closed on First Street. This section of road and the bridge will be closed on weekdays only starting on Monday, April 3 through Friday, April 14 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.; work is scheduled to be completed and the bridge fully reopened as of April 15.

Please note that the bridge will be open weekends.

Using an alternate route during this time will help avoid long delays and frustration.

Detour with traffic control devices will be in effect.
