San Joaquin County has been cleared to open campgrounds, playgrounds and water play features at county parks, but all remain closed this weekend in preparation for reopening the week of June 15.
In the meantime, officials ask everyone to remember that large gatherings are still prohibited at all of the county parks due to COVID-19. Gatherings are required to be no more than a single household, and all first-come, first-serve rules apply (no trailer BBQs, bounce houses, amplified music, water apparatus or tables and chairs). Outdoor shelters, playgrounds and water play features remain closed, as does Micke Grove Zoo, Fun Town and Oak Grove Nature Center.
Micke Grove’s Japanese Garden, fishing, horseshoe pits and disc golfing are available at the parks.
