Sisters of the Soul is Kristin Fulton’s first historic novel. It is an epic tale that spans over 60 years in the lives of Elizabeth Dumond and Sophie Washington. Fulton’s story is a story of redemption and transformation, and of healing a fractured relationship between a mother and a daughter. Sisters of the Soul touches on themes of slavery, friendship, romance, hatred tragedy and joy. The captivating women in the novel survive and thrive in an unpredictable and often brutal world.
While in his UC Berkeley Astronomy Tower, Professor Edmunds, a disgruntled genius not only discovers the Dark Planet but soon finds himself marooned on a hellish island. A sinister site, harboring horrific secrets and offering no escape. C.R. Hayes will be sharing his latest published book, The Dark Planet, Book One Discovery, which is the first of a five book series, written by Hayes.
The Dark Planet has everything a serious science-fiction fan will love: spaceships, fantastical foreign worlds, warring cultures, lust, love and mystery.
Anita Martin-Harvey has finished her second family saga based on historic figures from her family. A Woman Apart–Murder and Mayhem in Plymouth Colony, Martin-Harvey’s story begins with Ellinor, the pampered child of a country squire in Lincolnshire, England. As a young woman we find Ellinor leaving her gentle and comfortable life to follow the difficult, mercurial man she loves. Her life becomes increasingly more challenging as she endures poverty as the result of her husband’s poor decisions. To avoid imprisonment he escapes to the new world taking Ellinor and their two adolescent sons across the Atlantic Ocean. There Ellinor becomes part of the most notorious family recorded in Plymouth history.
