Taking advantage of the football bye week on Friday night, Sept. 30, the Escalon High School Key Club hosted a Zumba Night and Ice Cream Social at the high school. Here, a few of the participants follow along in the Zumba routine. Key Club advisor Rick Heflin said about 50 people in all attended, primarily students with a few teachers, and after getting in a good workout, polished off seven pounds of ice cream and toppings. A glow stick Zumba version is tentatively being planned for the winter. Fuzion Fitness in Escalon provided the instruction.
