The 2018 World Ag Expo came to a close after seeing large crowds, cutting-edge exhibits and gorgeous weather all three days of the show. Celebrating its 51st year, the world’s largest annual agricultural exposition was held at the International Agri-Center and featured 1,480 exhibitors on 2.6 million square feet of exhibit space. The three-day show hosted 106,700 attendees representing 49 states and 63 countries.

“World Ag Expo continues to be a high-quality marketplace for decision makers to network, research and buy new products and services. We’re proud to work with great exhibitors who attract serious attendees. It’s our best show in the last five years,” said Jerry Sinift, CEO of the International Agri-Center. “World Ag Expo is a celebration of all things ag, and we are honored to play a small role in supporting the industry that never stops working to feed and clothe the world.”

Feedback has been strong from both exhibitors and attendees.

Bret McArron from McArron Manufacturing had a very positive experience and shared, “When it’s all said and done, I sold at least a quarter million dollars’ worth of trailers at the show. For a little company like me to get those kinds of results is pretty amazing.”

Attendees came from all over the world to learn about the newest ag equipment, services and technology. More than 50 educational seminars were held over three days and covered a variety of topics ranging from irrigation to livestock to agribusiness.

Also in attendance to begin the expo was Secretary of Agriculture Sonny Perdue. Secretary Perdue spoke at opening ceremonies, hosted a Town Hall session and spent the day on the show grounds. Other popular attractions at the 2018 World Ag Expo included the Ride and Drive areas, Wine and Cheese, and the daily Equipment Showcase. The 2019 World Ag Expo is scheduled for Feb. 12-14, 2019. Requests for space are now being accepted for new and returning exhibitors at www.worldagexpo.org.

In addition to producing World Ag Expo, International Agri-Center is also home to the AgVentures! Learning Center and Museum, the California Antique Farm Equipment Show, and the Harvest Festival.
