Tokay RC Modelers Set Aerobatics Flying Event

The Tokay Radio Control Modelers, a local RC aeromodeling club, has announced its remote control airplane aerobatics event to be held at their flying field in Walnut Grove.

This event will be held on Saturday and Sunday, July 11 and 12 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event includes precision scale RC aerobatics flown by the country’s best pilots and the highest-performing 25 percent to 40 percent scale RC aircraft in the U.S.

On Saturday and Sunday at noon the world’s best RC fliers compete for prizes by performing freestyle aerobatic maneuvers to music, including amazing aerobatics very close to the ground.

Free spectator admission and parking, lunch will be available both days. All are encouraged to come and join the club for a great fun filled day, and help support the aeromodeling club at the same time.

The Tokay Radio Control Modelers club is a Lodi aeromodeling organization founded in 1971 and promotes the educational and recreational benefits of the sport to people of all ages.
