TAKE A BREAK
SQUIRT

Soccer can be exhausting, especially for the youngest players in the Escalon Recreation youth soccer program. Here, a seat near the sideline seemed to be the right spot for Aubree Arata, 3, to take a quick break while teammates and opponents continued their game around her. Enrolled in the ‘Squirts’ division, young Aubree plays for the Escalon Animal Shelter-sponsored team. She did get up to celebrate a goal scored by a teammate. Youth games are on Saturdays at the city’s Hogan-Ennis Park.
