Escalon’s Sober Grad committee puts on two major fundraisers during the year to offer the graduation night party for EHS seniors – and the first for this school year is coming up this week.

The annual Sober Grad Fall Bunco Bash is set for tomorrow night, Thursday, Nov. 10 at the EHS Performing Arts Theater, 1528 Yosemite Ave.

Along with Bunco, the annual Drive Thru Tri Tip Dinner – coming up in January – will help the committee raise the thousands of dollars needed to put on the Sober Grad Night festivities.

Cost is $20 per person, with the evening starting with hors d’oeuvres at 6:30 p.m. and the Bunco playing starting at 7 p.m.

Alcantor said there will be a number of door prizes available as part of the festivities and there will also be the opportunity to take a chance on additional drawings, with all proceeds from the event helping the committee plan the Sober Grad celebration for the Class of 2017.
