RTD is planning on providing transportation service from Escalon Community Center, 1055 Escalon Ave., Escalon, to the San Joaquin County Senior Awareness Day at the San Joaquin Fairgrounds. The event is on Wednesday, May 23 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Seniors interested in going to this event, may sign up for the event at Escalon City Hall, Heritage House, Paddack Village Mobile Manor or with the eTrans bus operator by Friday, May 11.

The local eTrans will provide free transportation within the Escalon city limits to the RTD bus departing the Escalon Community Center on Wednesday, May 23. Once the sign up list is finalized, RTD will contact those eTrans riders wanting transportation to coordinate pick up and drop off times.
