The crowd came in to enjoy Saturday supper at the Escalon United Methodist Church on Jan. 23, with the annual Spaghetti Feed put on at the church along Highway 120.
Though the day featured intermittent rain showers, the cooking crew was busy cooking up some 80 pounds of pasta early in the day and workers also got the bread and salad ready for eat in and take out. Business was good, said officials, and there were plenty of satisfied diners leaving the church, after topping off the spaghetti dinner with some ice cream for dessert.
