Races On Ballot For June 5 Primary
Vote1

San Joaquin County District 4 Supervisor Chuck Winn, the incumbent from Ripon who represents Escalon on the county board, is running for reelection and is being challenged by Julie Damron-Brown of Galt.

The June 5 primary election will also feature candidates for other county offices, with incumbent Sheriff-Coroner Steve Moore of Linden filing for reelection. He is facing a challenge from Pat Withrow of Escalon, who is a retired sergeant with the sheriff’s department.

The race for U.S. Representative in District 10 – the Congressional seat currently held by Jeff Denham – is also on the ballot and Denham has filed for reelection. Also seeking reelection, completing his first term in office, is 12th District State Assemblyman Heath Flora, who has filed the necessary paperwork with San Joaquin County to appear on the primary ballot.
