A 25-year-old Farmington man remained in the San Joaquin County Jail on Tuesday, March 27 following his arrest after a police pursuit on Friday, March 23. Arrested was Alexandro Xavier, jailed without bail on warrants from a number of agencies, including a no bail felon in possession of a firearm warrant from the Escalon Police Department. Police Chief Mike Borges said that, about 1:45 p.m. on Friday, March 23, the police department “received information of a subject who had numerous warrants for his arrest” being seen in the 2500 block of Jackson Avenue.
