Van Allen Elementary School recently hosted its year-end ‘Open House’ for parents to view the various projects their children have completed during the school year and chat with the teacher about their progress and readiness for next year. Here, visitors enjoy the chance to check out the schoolwork in teacher Jennifer Nelson’s first grade classroom. All schools in the Escalon Unified School District close out the year this week.
