“Honoring Our Military” is the new theme for the front window display at the Escalon Historical Museum on Main Street.

Included are uniforms and artifacts from the museum’s extensive military collection as well as some items brought in by Escalon Historical Society members specifically for the display. All military branches are valued and are being honored. The museum is open on Wednesdays from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. and on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., but the window can be enjoyed at any time. There is no charge for admission to the museum.

The first Wednesday of each month is Reminisce Day with members and nonmembers dropping in to share stories, memories, and more. All are welcome to join the group for the next Reminisce Day on Wednesday, March 1. Suggestions are also welcomed; residents are encouraged to propose a theme for the next or future window displays.
