The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various road construction on State Route 99 (SR-99) from Austin Road to the San Joaquin/Sacramento County line. No two consecutive ramps will close at the same time. Work in this area will occur as follows:
The #1 (left) and #2 (right) lanes on both northbound and southbound SR-99 from Arch Road to SR-4/Crosstown Freeway will alternately close beginning Monday, Jan. 4, 2016, through Friday, Jan. 8, 2016, from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.;
The northbound and southbound on and off-ramps, and the overcrossing at Mariposa Road are closed and scheduled to reopen summer 2016;
The northbound on-ramps to SR-99 from SR-26/Fremont Street to Hammer Lane will close beginning Monday, Jan. 4, 2016, through Friday, Jan. 8, 2016, from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.
This work is scheduled to begin as listed, but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment and/or materials, and construction related issues.
