Fundraising Seminar Offered For Non-Profit Community

The Gospel Center Rescue Mission will have a start-up fundraising seminar for the non-profit community of San Joaquin County. The event will be held Saturday, Jan. 28 on the rescue mission campus, 445 S. San Joaquin St., Stockton, CA 95203.

The seminar will teach the keys to start-up fundraising. You will learn to take home real fundraising tools, how to start fundraising without budget or fundraising staff and you will also get the bottom line about websites, capital campaigns, and consultants.

Wayne G. Richardson, the current President and CEO of the Gospel Center Rescue Mission, will teach the seminar. In addition to being a professional fundraising consultant, Richardson is also a certified fundraising executive. His professional experiences include being the former Vice President of Development for the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association as well as being the former Vice President of Philanthropy of CBN’s Operation Blessing International that he fundraised for in Haiti in 2011. He is a graduate of West Point.

Seating is limited to the first 50 people who have registered by mailing or delivering a $25 check made out to Gospel Center Rescue Mission to the campus address mentioned above. Reference the seminar in a note when mailing or delivering a check.

Tickets are $25 per person. The seminar includes lunch, snacks, refreshments and seminar materials. Tickets are non-refundable. Registration and questions may be sent by email to wrichardson@grcms.org

For the past 75 years the Gospel Center Rescue Mission has been ministering to the homeless and addicted in San Joaquin County by presenting the opportunity for spiritual, physical and emotional restoration through the love of Jesus Christ. Currently the GCRM has a number of programs focused on serving the homeless and addicted in the community.
