It was a morning full of fun stories, songs and a snowman-making craft at the Escalon Library on Thursday, as the weekly storytime was offered. Librarian Jamie Turner said it was the largest group she has had in recent weeks, with the Ekholm Meeting Room full of youngsters and their accompanying adults, coming in to enjoy the stories.

The storytime is scheduled at 10:30 a.m. Thursdays and is open to local preschoolers. Also, the library has new operating hours, Tuesdays 2 p.m. to 7 p.m., Wednesdays 1 p.m. to 6 p.m., Thursdays 10 a.m. to noon and 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., Fridays noon to 5 p.m. and Saturdays 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Shown are photos from this past week’s Storytime gathering.
