Ripon’s Lucca Winery continues the big-time fun with their stellar Summer Concert Series.

Many of the great wineries of the world host summer concerts, now Lucca Winery joins the festivities … and the fun continues with Foreverland a 14-piece electrifying Michael Jackson Tribute Band on Saturday, Aug. 13.

Since 2009, Foreverland has been mesmerizing audiences around the country with their larger-than-life tribute to the one and only Michael Jackson.

Featuring four dynamic vocalists, a powerhouse rhythm section, and the hardest working horn section in the business, Foreverland recreates hits from the Jackson 5 era through the end of Michael’s incredible career in a way that honors the King of Pop’s musical genius and legendary showmanship like no other tribute band has ever done.

Doors open at 5:30 p.m. for the art show and sale, wine tasting, dining, mixing and mingling. There will also be live music for this part of the evening provided by Jesse Christian Hendricks, who performs amazing Spanish Guitar style.

Dinner will be provided by Chef Christopher Bonora. Dinner is from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Foreverland will perform at 8 p.m. and will play for the remainder of the evening. Artists will be available for autographs and conversation.

“We, by popular demand, have also added a coffee and dessert bar,” stated John Griswold. “Our hope is to at the end of the series (have) made a little profit to share with arts for children who need financial help.”

John Griswold and Friends (JG&F) is an association of friends who like to produce smaller intimate outdoor concerts simply because they love the music and are committed to it. JG&F have teamed up with Lucca Winery to bring the summer series of great music, wine, food and art, with the final two evenings of Aug. 13 and Sept. 10 featuring great groups.

Although Lucca Winery is relatively new, JG&F has been producing jazz, world, chamber, and Celtic music events in Modesto for 22 years. This association allows you to experience all the goodness in life in a few wonderful evenings. JG&F, since this series began, has become a non-profit corporation for the good of underprivileged children to excel in the arts. These concerts are now viewed as fundraisers.
