Work has been completed on railroad grade crossings at Harrold Avenue and St. John, with the latter crossing finally opening up again this past week, with the finishing touches on the project concluded Wednesday afternoon, Jan. 31. Here, crews put down the final layer of asphalt on St. John, smoothing out the transition from roadway to railroad crossing. The project ran a couple of weeks behind schedule, forcing motorists to take a detour around the area longer than anticipated.
