The final full day of school for the year at Van Allen Elementary on Thursday saw the traditional ‘fun in the sun’ day to celebrate a successful year of learning and the arrival of summer vacation. The last day of school was Friday, but the full day on Thursday allowed for all classes to enjoy ample time at the various stations set up for elementary kids to enjoy, ranging from water slides to spin art, bounce houses to a hot dog lunch.
