Drone operator Mike Genseal, a citizen volunteer with the Escalon Police Department, was on hand at Friday night’s varsity vs. alumni soccer game at the Escalon High School football field, providing a demonstration of the department’s drone and doing a little filming of the event. Also attending were Police Department Explorers Tristan Brooks, Christopher Rodriguez and Max Teague. Sgt. Gustavo Flores and Police Services Manager Sara Cardoso attended as well, in soccer gear, but stayed on the sidelines to offer support and also kicked the soccer ball around with some youngsters at halftime.
