escalon

The annual Escalon Fair Boosters Dinner Dance fundraiser will be held at the Escalon Sportsman’s Club on Saturday, May 12 from 5:30 p.m. to midnight.

Tickets can be purchased from any Booster member or at the door on May 12. Ticket prices are $40 pre-sale and $45 at the door. There will be a ticket stop, and donation drop off May 2. Any questions about purchasing tickets you can call Ted Langum at (209) 838-2011, Rachelle Matthews at (209) 543-4498 or Karie Hearn at (408) 489-9705.

The evening should provide a good time for all. A live auction along with a silent auction are scheduled, and attendees will end the evening with a fun time dancing to the music provided by a local favorite band, Remedy.

Escalon Fair Boosters hosts its annual fundraiser to raise money to assist the Escalon 4-H and FFA students with the sale of their fair market animals when sold at the Agfest sale which will be held June 16 at the San Joaquin County Fairgrounds. Replacement Heifers will be sold Friday evening June 15 beginning at 7 p.m.

The funds raised help to make sure each student gets a fair market price for the animals they sell. Each student has worked many, many hours to be sure they bring the highest quality animals to exhibit and sell at Agfest.

Agfest is a non-profit organization which allows 4-Hers and FFA members to exhibit their market and breeding animals every year to complete their projects.
