St. Patrick’s Catholic Church is hosting its Holiday Craft Fair on Saturday, Nov. 18 from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday, Nov. 19 from 9 a.m. to noon. The fair will be hosted at the Church Hall, 19399 E. Highway 120, Ripon, on Highway 120 between Escalon and Ripon. Goal of the craft fair is to raise funds for St. Vincent de Paul and needy residents in the area. Come see the variety of craft and holiday-themed items, make some purchases and support the mission of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church.

Tickets are still available for the upcoming Sober Grad Bunco Night. This annual Fall Bunco Bash is scheduled for Thursday, Nov. 16 in the Escalon High School Performing Arts Center, 1528 Yosemite Ave., Escalon. Tickets are $25 per person. Escalon Grange members have hidden 20 specially decorated rocks around the community and have issued the invitation to community to go out and find them. The rocks can be redeemed for food items at D’Boni’s Pizza.

Christmas in Grandpa’s Barn will be offered Dec. 1 through 3 and Dec. 8 through 10 at 17693 Enterprise Road in Escalon. There will be vendors on hand, food, music, holiday specials and more. Christmas on Main is being planned for Saturday, Dec. 2 in Escalon, with booths open from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m., decorating of giving trees, music, a parade of lights, holiday shopping, children’s activities and more. A new, free After School Good News Club is now being offered each Wednesday at Trinity Church. The Good News Club is open to boys and girls in second through fifth grades and features non-denominational Bible-based teaching with Bible stories, activities, songs, snacks, crafts and more. The local REO Speechtrain Toastmasters Club gathers for regular meetings every Wednesday morning, 6:30 a.m. to 7:45 a.m., at Perko’s Cafe, Patterson and Oakdale roads, Riverbank. Regional Transit District has announced the new free Artie D.’s Shopper Shuttle – the easy, convenient way to move from mall to mall. You can catch the Shopper Shuttle in the east parking lot between JC Penney and Sears at Weberstown Mall; by The Patio and Dick’s Sporting Goods at Sherwood Mall; and between HomeTown Buffet and Five Guys at Stone Creek Village Shopping Center. The shuttle will run about every 20 minutes, so you don’t have to wait around for too long. The Shopper Shuttle will operate from 11 a.m. until 7 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.

Golden Agers weekly dances are open to those 50 and older from throughout the Central Valley at the Riverbank Community Center. Doors open Wednesdays at 9 a.m.; the center is at 3600 Santa Fe St., and first time guests are admitted free. The annual membership fee is $12 and each Wednesday members pay $5 and non-members can enjoy a few hours of music and dancing for $6.
