Engaged knowledgeable individuals want to reduce their carbon footprint. And even though a majority of Americans support taking action to address the threat of climate change, they aren’t sure how that goal can best be achieved. At the Thursday, April 12 meeting of the American Association of University Women (AAUW), Oakdale-Riverbank-Escalon Branch, Des Orsinelli, a local climate change activist will speak to members, guests, and prospective members about how the Citizens’ Climate Lobby (CCL) is advocating for passage of their Carbon Fee and Dividend proposal in Congress.
