Breakfast for dinner was on the menu Saturday night in Escalon, with members of the Escalon United Methodist Church offering the annual ‘Build Your Own’ omelet dinner. Along with a variety of fillings to have cooked in to your omelet, there were biscuits, potatoes, fruit and beverages, the menu making sure no one went away hungry.

Organizers said this year marked the 10th annual dinner and many of those attending the gathering come back year after year. Fillings available ranged from ham and sausage to onions and tomatoes, with each omelet then cooked up fresh for the diners.

An estimated 200 people attended the event, which serves as a fundraiser for the church.
