The first installment of the popular annual ‘Christmas in Grandpa’s Barn’ event was hosted this past weekend, with wagon rides, visits with Santa, fire pits, music and plenty of vendors offering their wares.

Hosted by Lorina’s Edible Garden on Enterprise Road, the Friday through Sunday festivities will be repeated this weekend, Friday and Saturday, Dec. 11 and 12 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 13 from noon to 4 p.m.

Crafts, homemade treats, soaps, lotions, ornaments, woodworking items, jewelry, scarves, clothing, locally produced honey and more were all available as shoppers came in to find that unique item for putting under the tree or for treating themselves.
