Coming up later this month, it’s the annual Pete and Sheila Arellano Golf Tournament, hosted at Escalon Golf.

Through funds raised at the tournament, two $1000 scholarships are awarded each year to local students.

The tournament features 18 holes of competition at Escalon Golf; cost is $50 per person or $180 for a team of four. The tournament is scheduled for Sunday, Aug. 13.

Sign in at 7:30 a.m., 8 a.m. shotgun start.
