From learning the products of California to getting a chance for an up close look at some farm animals, the students at Valley Home School (kindergarten through eighth grade) were busy all day Thursday, with presentations from two different groups of FFA students. Oakdale High School FFA sent students to work with the youngsters in the morning and Escalon High FFA made a visit there in the afternoon. The Valley Home students visited a variety of afternoon stations hosted by the Escalon FFA, ranging from vegetable growing to floral arranging to learning more about the FFA organization itself.
