Members of the Escalon City Council will gather for a regular meeting on Monday, Dec. 17 – the final session for 2018 – and City Manager Tammy Alcantor said it looks to be a light agenda for the panel.

The main order of business will be to certify the election results of Nov. 6 and then swear in the newly elected council members – incumbents Ed Alves and Robert Swift and newcomer Peter Krumeich. The session will also be the last one for longtime councilman Danny Fox, who did not seek reelection in November.

Alcantor said the council will also review a new no camping ordinance proposed within the city.

The meeting begins at 7 p.m. on Monday in the Council Chambers at Escalon City Hall, 2060 McHenry Ave.
