Stanislaus County dairy producer, Maureen Lemos, has been re-elected to serve as Member-at-large to the Executive Committee of the California Milk Advisory Board (CMAB), the promotional arm of the state’s dairy farmers.

Maureen and her husband Darin are third generation California dairy farmers at Lockwood III Dairy, which was established in 2004. The dairy consists of 550 Holstein cows and 550 replacement heifers, which produce 15,000,000 pounds of milk annually. She is a member of Western United Dairies, author of Clarice the Red Cow children’s books, professional photographer, photography instructor, member of CMAB Social Influencer Team, Dairy Herd Improvement Association board member, Dairy Council of California board member, and Tri W community service club member.

California is the nation’s leading milk producer, and makes more butter, ice cream and nonfat dry milk than any other state. California is the second-largest producer of cheese and yogurt.
