The San Joaquin County Board of Supervisors is seeking volunteers to serve on a number of boards and commissions. Board members will consider qualified applications received on or before the Friday, Jan. 19 deadline at the board meeting of Feb. 27.
All members appointed by the Board of Supervisors will be required to attend training. The training dates and registration information will be provided by the Clerk of the Board upon appointment.
Needed are members for: the Council for Quality Care and Education of Children; the San Joaquin County Law Library Board of Trustees; and the Workforce Development Board.
One discretionary representative is sought for the Council for Quality Care and Education of Children and qualified applicants must live, work, or receive childcare services in San Joaquin County.
To qualify to serve for the county Law Library Board, applicants must be members of the California State Bar and one trustee post is currently available.
One Institute of Higher Education representative is being sought for the Workforce Development Board. Applicants must submit a Supplemental Form, signed by a nominating agency, along with an application for the position.
