At the Escalon Fire Department Annual Appreciation Dinner hosted on May 16, Fire Chief Rick Mello presented Times Editor Marg Jackson with a plaque signifying her as an ‘Honorary Member’ of the local department, recognized for “ongoing support and encouragement.” A Certificate of Recognition was also presented from Assemblyman Heath Flora on behalf of the State Assembly, indicating: “Your dedication to the City of Escalon has created a positive impact in your community and the surrounding Central Valley.”
