A special holiday offering is scheduled over the next two December weekends, sponsored by The Micke Grove Zoological Society. Zoo Lights will run from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Micke Grove, Friday through Sunday, Dec. 7 through 9 and Dec. 14 through 16.

Scheduled during the program are activities, games, crafts, entertainment and a free photo with Santa. Cost is $20 per vehicle; there is a $5 discount for members showing their Micke Grove Zoological Society membership card.

Also, make plans to attend the last ‘Astronomy in the Park’ night for the year, scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 15 beginning at sunset at Oak Grove Regional Park. Come view the planets and stars, courtesy of the Stockton Astronomical Society. There is a $6 parking fee but admission to the event is free.
