HISTORICAL VISIT
Museum pix.jpg

Sally Wittenborn, great-niece of Peggy and Arvid Bengston, standing, back center, in red plaid shirt, stopped by the Escalon Historical Society Museum on Wednesday afternoon with her mother, seated at table, at left. The two got to tour the ‘family business’ – as the site of the museum was formerly Bengston’s Dry Goods Store. They were able to spend some time in the afternoon looking over a variety of historical items in the museum and visiting with local museum staffers and visitors during the first Wednesday of the month ‘Reminisce Day’ festivities.
