Representative Josh Harder (CA-10) has released a comprehensive mid-year report detailing his efforts on behalf of the Central Valley. The report outlines Rep. Harder’s legislative work, constituent services, and response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
“This has been an unprecedented year – but we’ve gotten an incredible amount done for the Valley by working across the aisle and staying focused on what really matters – delivering for folks in the Valley,” said Rep. Harder. “There’s a lot more work to be done, and I’m ready to keep fighting for our community’s health and economy as we beat back this pandemic.”
Highlights from the report include:
• Returned over $3,000,000 to more than 2,500 Central Valley residents who were owed payments by the VA, Medicare and Social Security, EDD, and other agencies.
• Passed 18 pieces of legislation through the House of Representatives.
• Remained accessible during the pandemic, holding eight telephone town halls and first-ever “drive-through” office hours.
Harder made a commitment to be accessible to the community he represents. He has released reports on the 2019 appropriations process and a 2019 end of year report to keep constituents up to date on the work he’s doing on their behalf.
