Get Your Fair Food Fix During October

Fair bites is coming back again at the Stanislaus County Fair for a spooky October of Fair food.

Fair management has been working with local Fair vendors to bring the community options for Fair food this month.

“We received a huge turnout when we provided Fair food in July and wanted to provide that again for the Fall season,” said Adrenna Alkhas, marketing and communication director of the Stanislaus County Fair. “We are very fortunate to have local fair vendors participate in the fair food drive-thru again.”

Alkhas said the Fair’s priority is the safety of guests and vendors working, therefore, staff will be practicing the safety guidelines set by the county. The Fair will only accept drive-thru options for customers. Customers must stay and order their food in their car, an employee will take the guests order while vendors will wear masks and gloves, sanitize frequently and food will be properly packaged. A list of menu items will be available on the Fair’s website from each vendor and on social media.

VFW 5059 Auxiliary Booth – Famous Fair Hamburgers and Warrior Fries, Yonan’s fresh hand dipped corndogs and curly fries and Funnel Cakes Express are all scheduled to take part in the “Sit Tight, Fair Bites” Fair drive-thru food event. Days and hours are Friday through Sunday, Oct. 2 through 4 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., and again on Friday and Saturday, Oct. 9 and 10 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
