The next meeting of the Escalon Farmington Community Garden Club is set for Thursday, March 3.

Scheduled for a 1 p.m. start, the meeting will be hosted at the Farmington United Methodist Church, 25626 Elm St., Farmington.

A door prize will be awarded to someone just for attending and snacks are provided.

There will also be drawings for raffle prizes; proceeds from the sale of the tickets will help the local club meet their goal of giving a $1000 scholarship to a graduate in the area each year.

Also, looking ahead, the garden club will host a Plant Sale on Saturday, April 2 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., being put on at United Methodist Church, 2000 Jackson Ave., Escalon. This sale will be part of the Youth Scholarship Fundraiser program.
