Escalon enjoyed a little sense of normalcy on Friday night, as the choir performed the National Anthem prior to the kickoff of the varsity football game. The band, which also took time to warm up prior to kickoff, was socially distanced in the stands and many performers played their instruments with openings cut through their masks, providing a reminder that things aren’t quite back to ‘normal’ but are closer than they were a month ago. The Friday night JV and varsity games closed out the very short football season.
