A festive fundraising event that had been on hold the past couple of years is once again returning to Escalon.

It’s almost time for ‘Tea and Trumpets” – a tea party that is a fundraiser for music education and programs for local school students.

All are encouraged to join in for this Garden Tea party, scheduled for Saturday, May 6 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.; hosted at Lorina’s Edible Garden, 17397 Enterprise Road, Escalon.

There will be a Best Hat contest, raffle drawings, live music and a wide array of teas and finger foods, both savory and sweet.

Ticket cost is $25 per person and the tickets are available through Eventbrite or by contacting Sonya Huff at 209-484-4465 or Debbie Murken at 209-402-0505.

The event is sponsored by the Escalon Chamber of Commerce.
