Fish Planting At Oak Grove Regional Park

Oak Grove Regional Park has been planted with 500 pounds of catfish, the San Joaquin County Parks and Recreation Department has announced.

Kids age 15 years and younger fish for free at Oak Grove’s 10-acre lake, a $5 fishing permit fee and valid California fishing license are required for those sixteen (16) years of age or over. A vehicle-parking fee will also apply, as do all State Fish and Game laws.

Oak Grove Regional Park is on Eight Mile Road and Interstate 5 in Stockton. Park gates open at 8 a.m. and close at dusk. For more information, call (209) 953-8800 or log onto www.sjparks.com, Facebook or Instagram.
