Escalon Consolidated Fire District responded to 23 calls for service during the period of Monday, Aug. 7 through Sunday, Aug. 13. Calls included:

 

SUNDAY, AUG. 13

2:45 a.m. – Smoke investigation, 25000 block East Meyers; unable to locate anything in the area.

4:43 a.m. – Vegetation fire reported, Dodds and Escalon-Bellota; small roadside grass fire, determined to be in Farmington district.

9:25 a.m. – Medical alarm sounding, 28000 block East River Road; determined to be false alarm.

12:26 p.m. – Smoke investigation, 20000 block South McHenry.; determined to be controlled burn in the area.

2:35 p.m. – Emergency Medical Services call, 27000 block East Vine.

6:32 p.m. – EMS call, 1400 block Ribier.

 

SATURDAY, AUG. 12

1:56 p.m. – EMS call, 19000 block South Harrold.

3:15 p.m. – Vehicle accident reported, Mariposa and Brennan; single vehicle into power pole with wires down. Determined to be non-injury, crew released by CHP.

 

FRIDAY, AUG. 11

2:18 p.m. – EMS call, 13000 block South Robinson.

 

THURSDAY, AUG. 10

1:31 a.m. – EMS call, 2200 block Main.

12:02 p.m. – Possible gas leak, 300 block Sultana; responded to the scene and no leak was detected.

4:33 p.m. – Motor vehicle accident, Van Allen and River, possibly three vehicles involved; canceled on arrival.

 

WEDNESDAY, AUG. 9

TUESDAY, AUG. 8

3:26 a.m. – EMS call, 400 block Valdapena.

7:28 a.m. – EMS, 2000 block Swanson.

2:47 p.m. – EMS, 1700 block Autumnwood.

6:11 p.m. – EMS, 1500 block St. Clair.

6:14 p.m. – EMS, 2300 block Vine.

 

MONDAY, AUG. 7

4:07 a.m. – Vegetation fire, large outdoor fire reported, determined to be almond hull fire with no structures threatened; Highway 120 and Brennan.

9:57 a.m. – EMS call, 1100 block California.

1:21 p.m. – EMS, 23000 block South Santa Fe.

1:37 p.m. – Lift assist, 27000 block East Edwards.

1:39 p.m. – Vegetation fire reported, Jones and McHenry; responding crews located a wood chip fire that was being extinguished by employee upon arrival.

3:16 p.m. – EMS, 1400 block Ribier.
