Fire Calls 6-17-20
FIRE

Escalon Consolidated Fire District responded to 22 calls for service during the period of Monday, June 8 through Sunday, June 14. Calls included:

 

SUNDAY, JUNE 14

6:30 p.m. – Vehicle fire, 24000 block River Road.

7:56 p.m. – EMS, 24000 block East River Road.

8:01 p.m. – Small outside fire, rekindle of Highway 120 fire from earlier in the week, 27000 block Highway 120.

9:47 p.m. – Gas leak odor, 1300 block Escalon Avenue; assisted.

 

SATURDAY, JUNE 13

7:47 a.m. – EMS call, 17000 block Henry.

1:25 p.m. – EMS, French Camp and Highway 120; mutual aid to Ripon.

3:19 p.m. – Vehicle fire, 21000 block Highway 120; single vehicle with engine compartment fire.

6:41 p.m. – EMS, 2300 block Yosemite.

7:59 p.m. – EMS 20000 block McHenry.

 

FRIDAY, JUNE 12

9:07 a.m. – EMS call, 1300 block Stanislaus.

11:42 p.m. – Tire fire, 27000 block Highway 120, cross of Campbell Avenue; crews dispatched to a controlled burn that reportedly went out of control. Tires, several trash bins on fire upon arrival. On scene for a few hours to bring fire under control and extinguish it.

11:55 a.m. – Smoke investigation at Santa Fe and Harrold; determined to be from Highway 120 fire, smoke visible throughout the area.

12:16 p.m. – EMS, 1600 block James.

 

THURSDAY, JUNE 11

1:50 p.m. – Vegetation fire, South Murphy Road; automatic aid to Ripon for small outside fire.

 

WEDNESDAY, JUNE 10

5:49 a.m. – EMS call, 2400 block Jonathon; canceled prior to arrival.

10:37 a.m. – EMS, 21000 block Sexton.

1:32 p.m. – EMS, 1700 block Alicante.

1:54 p.m. – Possible power lines down, 2200 block Jackson; report of electrical hazard in the area, unable to locate.

3:34 p.m. – Motor vehicle accident, Van Allen north of Lone Tree Road; train vs. tractor trailer loaded with cows; no injuries to train personnel or the big rig driver but fatal injuries reported to several dozen cows. CHP also on scene assisting. Partial derailment of train as well.

4:45 p.m. – EMS, assisted AMR with patient in the 21000 block of Sexton.

 

TUESDAY, JUNE 9

No calls logged.

 

MONDAY, JUNE 8

12:08 a.m. – Illegal burn reported, Hall and Burwood; small outside fire.

9:26 p.m. – EMS call, 23000 block River Road.
