Escalon Consolidated Fire Protection District responded to 24 calls for service during the period of Monday, April 29 through Sunday, May 5. Calls included:

 

SUNDAY, MAY 5

5:07 p.m. – Lift assist, canceled prior to arrival, 16000 block South Sexton.

 

SATURDAY, MAY 4

2:12 a.m. – Outside fire reported, 31000 block Rossier Road, report of illegal burn; small burn pile located.

 

FRIDAY, MAY 3

12 p.m. – Manpower assist, 25000 block East Lone Tree, assist to paramedics.

12:22 p.m. – Lift assist, 1100 block Escalon Avenue.

3:36 p.m. – Mutual aid to Farmington Fire Department on vegetation fire, 28000 block Carter Road.

5:13 p.m. – Motor vehicle accident, River Road west of McHenry; three vehicles involved with five minor patients, all transported.

8:40 p.m. – Lift assist, 1400 block Ribier.

 

THURSDAY, MAY 2

4:55 p.m. – Motor vehicle accident, Steinegul Road at Edwards, single commercial vehicle rollover, air ambulance requested for one immediate patient; subject later transported via ground ambulance, confirmed fatality. CHP also on scene but no further information available.

5:08 p.m. – Motor vehicle accident, possible train vs. pedestrian accident, Main and First; unable to locate anything.

5:48 p.m. – EMS call, 25000 block East Catherine Way.

 

WEDNESDAY, MAY 1

10:42 a.m. – EMS call, 2400 block California.

12:02 p.m. – Vegetation fire, Santa Fe just south of Hall Avenue; small roadside grass fire, no structures involved.

3:56 p.m. – Motor vehicle accident, Highway 120 east of Van Allen, single vehicle into power pole, reported as non-injury.

 

TUESDAY, APRIL 30

5:33 a.m. – EMS call, 22000 block Highway 120.

8:13 a.m. – Motor vehicle accident, report of vehicle vs. pedestrian at McHenry and Highway 120; canceled on arrival.

8:26 a.m. – EMS, 13000 block Escalon-Bellota Road.

3:33 p.m. – Lift assist, 25000 block Magnolia.

9:15 p.m. – Motor vehicle accident, Escalon-Bellota and Magnolia, single vehicle off roadway with one minor injury reported.

 

MONDAY, APRIL 29

8:09 a.m. – EMS call, 18000 block Campbell.

11:02 a.m. – EMS, 21000 block Sexton Road; cancelled prior to arrival.

11:14 a.m. – Lift assist, 21000 block Sexton.

3:53 p.m. – EMS, 2500 block Jackson.

8:17 p.m. – Water rescue, 24000 block River Road; report of person stuck in raft on river, upon arrival on scene, found subject safely on shore, out of the river.

9:14 p.m. – EMS, 2500 block Jackson.
