More than 145 entries submitted this season have been judged with just over 85 pieces of fine art accepted for display in the Delicato Wine Tasting Room, on display through Saturday, Feb. 25.
There is a vast selection of themes ranging from beautiful landscapes, farm life and wild animals to elegant portraits and florals. All art displayed is available for purchase.
Dorothy Indelicato always loved how art and wine brought the community together in a positive way. She found it very rewarding to see artists and winery guests enjoying conversation that connected wine with art. She was inducted in to the Manteca Hall of Fame in 1993 for her many years of promoting the arts in the local community.
The exhibit will be on display in the winery’s Tasting Room through Saturday, Feb. 25. Artist Sherry Eidhammer was awarded the 2023 Best of Show honor. All Delicato visitors and friends of the artists are welcome to view and vote for their favorite piece of art during the exhibit. The artist who collects the most votes by the end of the show will receive the Visitor’s Choice Award and a $100 Delicato Gift Card.
Visitors are encouraged to call the Tasting Room to reserve a tasting flight. Delicato Family Wines is located in Manteca, off Highway 99 at French Camp Road, exit 246. The Tasting Room, where the art is displayed, is open seven days a week, 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
