I was wondering how many of the Farmington residents have stopped to say hello to Mr. Jones. Mr. Jones has been a fixture at the corner of Highway 4 & Escalon-Bellota Road for many years. He first started selling his fruits and vegetables at the old gas station that Doc Alder owned. That building has been torn down and now the Circle K has taken its place, which is owned by the Sanguinetti family. Mr. Jones builds birdhouses. His inspiration came from a book he received from Mr. Briggs that shows a lot of the old buildings that used to be in Farmington area. Mr. Jones has a small area where he showcases his birdhouses at the Circle K.
